Assemblies
We have 3 core assemblies that we use each week. These reinforce the school’s Rights Respecting culture and enhances our pupils’ social, moral, spiritual and cultural experiences.
Newsround
Weekly class assemblies will allow the children to watch at least 1 Newsround episode, highlighting things that have occurred around the world at an age-appropriate format.
RRSA/British Values/Singing
Whole school assemblies will focus on an article or National Day that is then linked to a UNICEF Article and British Values. It will also provide pupils opportunities to learn songs from around the world.
Celebration Assembly
Weekly whole school celebration assemblies give us all a chance to share the fantastic learning that goes on in our classrooms and to celebrate individual acheivements.
