Today we say goodbye and good luck to our Year 6 class and also to Mrs Gildley, Miss Sedgwick and Mrs Birchall. We wish them every success for the future.


Starfish had a virtual meeting with some of the Starfish at home to say happy holidays and wish Gabrielle good luck in her new school.

Year 6 have been enjoying a fun packed week, including a water fight yesterday and BBQ food today.


We would like to wish Mrs Hall (Penguin Class) and Mrs Wood (Starfish Class) a very happy birthday today, we hope they both have a fantastic day with lots of cake


Stingray Class have recorded their leavers assembly for us to share with parents and our local community. We are proud of all of them and the great things they have achieved and we wish them well for the future.

Starfish Class have been having fun playing with the bubbles this afternoon.


It was lovely to welcome back some of our children yesterday for their transition session. We are looking forward to seeing more of you throughout the week. We have missed you and we hope that your time spent in school will help prepare you for your return in September.

Poppy and Ava Guard have created a wonderful idea to inspire us all to read over the summer. Do you like their shield, which they are going to collect stamps in for all their holiday reading. What a great idea.


We are so proud of everyone's brilliant writing and Adyan in Year 1 has been working so hard creating this thank you letter for Miss Francis. Well done!


Green fingered Eva has already harvested her been crop! Have any of you grown some food to eat? Don't forget Spadeworks is open to visitors and is such a great place to visit!

Alice has been so busy at home, look at her fantastic garden! She was also inspired by our Den Building project - are you in there Alice?


Mia in Year 4 baked a cake for local Asda staff. Well done Mia, we know that the whole school community will be very inspired by this!

Year 6 have written some lovely diary entries today, well done!


For challenge 1 Sharks have built their own giants castle ‘dens’. We are having a treat and using them to watch a film and have some popcorn!


Mrs Atkinson has helped the school secure an amazing £3.5K through a School Travel Plan application. We are so excited to be able to purchase more storage for our increasing numbers of scooting and cycling families! Thank you!


Our boys are loving writing, whether in school or at home. Keep up the great work George, Charlie and Max!


Shark Class have been reflecting on Year 1 this week. Look at Aya's lovely memories, we cannot wait to all be together as we start Year 2 in September!


In the Hub the children have produced fantastic newspaper reports this week. They were able to include catchy headlines, text boxes and use some very imaginative vocabulary. Well done!


Eva has achieved an incredible physical goal this week. Her 90 mile challenge involved biking, walking, running and gymnastics too! We are so proud of you!


Naomi studied Botticelli this week in her art masterclass! What an amazing picture. Can you get inspired and create your own artist impression?


Year 5 got physical in a different way with Mrs Gordon this week! They followed the Darcy Bussell master class in African Dance moves. What a great idea!


Harry found a really creative way of building 3D shapes this week! Why don't you try this at home?
