As a treat for reaching their Class Dojo target of 150, Shark Class have enjoyed a pyjama party this afternoon. All of the children snuggled up in their onesies and watched a film together


Starfish Class have been using prepositional language this week when giving commands to their own BeeBots. Can you use prepositional language over the weekend by creating your own obstacle course?

Year 1 have been learning how to make their own split pin bears this week!


Exciting News! This week we have received our large AR order for our newly revamped library! The children are looking forward to reading these books and quizzing on them!


This week Yr5 have been enjoying looking at poetry through the amazing book Cloud Busting by , this has included creating Haikus on the theme of bullying


Our Remarkable Writing Day winners received their prizes today, well done to all for their amazing writing


This week Year 3 made their own tin foil timelines of how the universe evolved for space week. They also made one giant timeline after as a class.


Mrs Guthrie and Mrs Covey are making the most of online CPD training this morning by attending the October Conference


This week, Year 1 became Cave People! They crawled into their caves to create these cave pictures after their remarkable writing about The Croods cave.


A huge well done to Daisy (Yr6), Annabel (Yr5), Theo (Yr4), Holly S (Yr3), Zaylee (Yr2) and Holly (Yr1) on winning our Remarkable Writing Day challenge as chosen by our SVLT Members, they will receive their prizes next week!


Well done to Kenzie-Lee in Yr5 on making it through the trials, he has now signed a 2 year contract to play for the under 10's football team. Were very proud of you Kenzie-Lee.


Everyone has completed artwork to compliment their story writing on 'The Croods'. Yr1 created caves to complete their wall paintings in. Yr2 worked on shading & patterns using pastels to create a sunrise and Yr3&5 focused on the plants & animals found in the new, magical world.


Starfish Class have been completing lots of Maths activities during their COOL time today, Mrs Covey came in to see all of their hard work and was so impressed with the peg patterns and number formations she could see. They have settled so well into our school community already!


Remarkable Writing Day kicked off with a virtual whole school assembly, watching a short clip from the film The Croods. The children are now writing their own version of the story. We can't wait to show the finished articles and our whole school display!


This week Year 3 took on the role as hunter-gatherers on the school field to discover what they may be able to gather to survive.


Whilst learning about the Solar system in Science today, Luca from Penguin Class decided to make a short film to remember the order of the planets

Year 1 have had a really interesting chat with Fireman Aiden and learned some useful tips! We now know that if there is a fire in our home we must run and shout! Do you know where your smoke alarms are in your home?


A huge thank you to the Cross family for their kind donation of two basketball hoops, they have proved very popular this lunchtime!


All children have taken part in the Big Anti Bullying Assembly this morning and have completed their pledge sheets in class as part of the assembly. Al children understand the right behavior and attitudes to respect one another!


Rockin' Rights Respecting - The children have begun to have an awareness around their rights and their favourite is - The right to play and rest. What is yours?


This week's Article of the week explores Article 38. October 2 is the United Nations International Day for Non-Violence and this year is the 75 anniversary of the United Nations. So this weeks article is a particularly good article to feature


This week Year 6 have been planning and publishing diaries from the perspective of Torak, the main character from their class novel Wolf Brother

This week Year 5 have been looking further into the Anglo-Saxon period and leadership, the understanding of leaders, kings and kingdoms has also helped us with our story writing.


This week Year 3 have been investigating non-magnetic and magnetic materials. They have also looked at partitioning numbers in different ways in maths.
